A Lego party and six

November 23, 2009

Addison has been planning this party for months, and had some detailed specifications: there would be a Lego-building competition, a potato-sack (or in this case, pillow-case) race, musical chairs, a (very) homemade pinata, pin-the-Lego-on-the-Lego-man, and a cake that looked just like a giant Lego brick with exactly six bumps. All I had to do was show up and execute his vision.

We had an ear-splitting, memorable time. It was a party befitting our extremely animated and imaginative little boy, Mr. Lover of Legos and all bright things the world has to offer.

Happy Birthday Addison! You are building, along with some pretty fantastic Lego creations, a more joyous world for those around you.

AH, Tiffany…another really great blog. Loved the analogy. And, you are a fun, good mom to help your son’s dreams come true.

I love your party theme! I’m going to have to steal that idea this winter. I’ll have to call and get all the details from you! It sounds like Addison is an event planner in the making!

I have made the same birthday cake! Aren’t lego parties the best? Life without legos would just not be the same.
