The highlight of our days is our ritual evening walk/bike ride around the lakes in our area. This time of year, things are changing so rapidly. Each day is different: new color, life, death, beauty.

Everyone and everything is getting ready for the upcoming season. We see it in the squirrels, the migrating flocks of birds, even the mosquitoes seem too busy to bite. We take it all in, enjoying this most amazing time of year, one day, one stroll at a time.

Great photos. And, as you say, beautiful; not only the time of year, but the family as well!

Oh I can’t stand how beautiful it looks there. I can only image in a month when all those trees are orange. I’m so interested to talk to you about canning. I’m scared to death of it as well, not to mention no place to store it. Way to be brave and do it 🙂
