In the sun it melted
This blog is beginning to read a bit like the Weather Channel.
But I just have to show you:
Grass! Making a guest appearance after four months. Oh, the excitement, watching these patches appear in our yard.
Under this spot are dozens of tulip and daffodil bulbs I planted right before the ground froze last fall.
We spent the afternoon outside. It was just so pleasant. No biting cold on our cheeks. A real puddles for splashing. This boy now has two pairs of inoperable shoes, but that stomping just couldn’t be helped.
Grass. Shirtsleeves. It’s a tease, really. Snow is forecasted for the weekend. But we’ll take these warm days when we can. Today the temps are supposed to climb to 48 degrees! I’m breaking out the suntan lotion and we’re heading to the lake. Oh wait, lakes are still frozen under four feet of ice. Well, maybe next week.
This is Tiffany Lewis for Twin Cities Weather, signing off.
