Two!
Parenting continues to sling surprises my way. I never knew the addition of this spunky boy to our family would do so much to bring us together.
Asher rules the roost. He is head honcho, the leader of the pack in pint-sized glory. He actually usurped Seth’s place at the head of the table, and we let him have it. That’s how it goes around here.
I didn’t think there could be so much brotherly love toward one little boy, but it came out in full force yesterday. Signs and poster were already made the day before and taped all over the walls, along with pennies and licorice sticks. There was waffles and cream for breakfast, a midday field trip (school boys included) to the ice cream shop, and an evening of cake, presents, and a talent show. Our strong-willed, independent little two-year-old took it all in step.
Man I love this kid.
Active
Sports-loving
Head-strong
Energetic
Remarkable
p.s. Someone else got an early, early birthday present yesterday. It almost made up for the tragic BYU loss in the NCAA tournament last week. Almost.

Asher! Already 2!? Wow! Incredible! That fatty chunck-a-licious boy doesn’t stop getting cute! I loved the picture of him and the boy!
And Seth…WOW! lucky.
this is bad….i just got really envious.
Tiff, you all look great and happy up north in that frozen land ๐ We miss you here. Sure you don’t wanna come back? ๐
XO
Thanks Jen. We miss you guys too! I hear the bluebonnets are out! Take some beautiful pictures for us!
Happy Birthday Asher! My parents have those same corel plates. It reminds me of growing up! We also love waffles with cream and berries for birthday breakfast!!! Youngest of four boys really are the best loved by all their brothers; I guess it’s the one favorite they all have in common. ๐
It’s so true. Brotherly love is really a remarkable thing.
Those darling pictures tell it all! I loved Asher’s expression while taking in his cake. What a heart-warming day, love and happiness abounds in that household. Special day for Seth, too! Fun!
